How we work

We provide special pastoral care for African Communities without Chaplaincies – “Umbrella chaplaincy catering for all those countries that do not have their own chaplaincies. It is important for it to be seen as such and every effort made to bring the different African Communities together regularly” said by Bishop O’Donoghue, Chairman of the Bishop Conference for Migrants in England and Wales -1998.

National Chaplaincies & Pan-African Chaplaincy

The African Mission is the founding and umbrella organisation of African Chaplaincies and Associations. It co-ordinates the activities of the African Communities (National Chaplaincies and Pan-African Chaplaincy). It is responsible for matters concerning the continent of Africa. However, it does not deal with national issues of the various National Chaplaincies. What are these National Chaplaincies and Pan-African Chaplaincy?
